CMe Publish specializes in supporting Black women writers at all stages of their careers.
Our mission is to amplify their voices and contributions to the literary landscape. We achieve this by developing writing practices and programming that center their unique experience.
We focus on Black women’s authorship because we believe first-person recounts are vital to the accurate recording of history and culture.
As the founder of CMe Publish, Carmella Manns brings a culturally attuned, deeply affirming, and artistically rigorous approach to every project.
Her work centers on empowerment and the belief that Black women’s stories deserve to be affirmed and recorded in their own voices with intention and care.
She is a passionate mentor and creative leader with a strong background in business management, literary composition, resource development, and coaching. With years of experience encouraging women to take up space, she brings a unique blend of corporate strategy and community-centered care to her work.
Driven by a deep belief in the importance of access and storytelling, Carmella fosters creative environments where Black women grow and transform into themselves.
